Associate Therapist

Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and better understand yourself along the way.

Starting therapy can come with a lot of different feelings. You may have a clear sense of what you want support with, or you may simply know that something in your life doesn’t feel the way you want it to. Sometimes the hardest patterns to shift are the ones that have become so familiar we barely notice them. You may find yourself putting a lot of pressure on yourself, struggling with difficult emotions, or getting caught in patterns of overthinking and self-criticism. You might want to feel more confident in yourself, have relationships that feel healthier and more balanced, or simply move through life without constantly questioning whether you’re doing enough or getting it right.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. Together, we can explore what has been weighing on you, understand patterns that keep showing up, and build on the strengths you already carry as we find new ways of navigating the challenges in your life.

I work with adolescents and adults, providing virtual psychotherapy across Ontario. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe that healing and meaningful change can happen when we feel safe, understood, and accepted. I strive to create a space where you can be yourself without judgement and explore your experiences and emotions with curiosity.

Before completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP), I earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a concentration in Developmental Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience and Mental Health. My education and ongoing professional development have shaped my particular interests in ADHD, anxiety, perfectionism, attachment and relationships, and emotion regulation, as well as my interest in supporting adolescents and young adults.

My therapeutic approach is person-centred, integrative, and attachment-informed. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Narrative Therapy. Rather than following one approach with every client, I tailor our work to your experiences, strengths, needs, and goals.

I believe that understanding ourselves can be an important part of creating change. What we’re experiencing today can sometimes make more sense when we consider the bigger picture, including the experiences that have shaped us, the beliefs we’ve developed about ourselves, and the ways we’ve learned to navigate emotions and relationships. Therapy gives us the opportunity to connect some of these dots, approach familiar patterns with greater curiosity and compassion, and consider what you might want to carry forward or do differently.

My goal is for you to leave therapy with a greater understanding of yourself and tools that feel relevant and useful in your everyday life. Through our work, I hope to support you in developing

greater trust in yourself and finding ways of moving forward that feel meaningful, supportive, and sustainable for you.

I am currently accepting new clients and offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can connect, talk about what you’re looking for, and see if working together feels like the right fit.
